In February 2021, all kindergartens of the Trešnjober Preschool Institution joined the humanitarian campaign “Plant Life, Be a Hero!” in cooperation with NURDOR — the National Association of Parents of Children with Cancer.

The campaign was organized to mark International Childhood Cancer Day, with the aim to:
- Provide support to children and parents fighting the disease
- Teach Trešnjober children about solidarity and empathy
- Raise funds for the construction of a new parents’ house in Belgrade
A Pencil that Plants Life
For a donation of 100 dinars, each Trešnjober child could buy a special pencil with an inspirational message and a seed of mint, lavender, or basil.
Once the pencil is used up — the child and parent can plant it together and grow a plant.
Writing, reading, and planting — symbols of this noble initiative.
