CSR Activities
Social Responsibility and Initiatives of Trešnjober Kindergarten
The social responsibility of the Trešnjober Preschool is reflected in our commitment to educational work, where we strive to improve our community and environment.
On this path, through our activities within the framework of our corporate social responsibility strategy, we strive to contribute to the further development of other organizations and institutions in our community.
We focus our CSR activities in four main directions
Collaboration with the local community
Environmental improvement and sustainable development
Educational and professional work dedicated to inclusion
Commitment to employee well-being
Social responsability
Collaboration of Trešnjober preschool and other organizations
In addition to our internal projects and corporate social responsibility activities, we also collaborate with other organizations that share our values — offering them our experience, resources, and expertise to support their work.
NURDOR is the national association of parents of children with cancer, made up of parents and friends of children who have battled cancer and their families, united by the mission to improve the quality of treatment and life for these children and their loved ones with the desire to contribute to the quality of life of these brave little fighters.

Trešnjober Preschool has signed a cooperation agreement with NURDOR to provide the implementation of the preparatory preschool program for every child of preschool age who stays in the parent houses in Belgrade during treatment. This ensures continuity in the education of children with cancer, so that after completing their treatment, they can seamlessly enroll in the first grade.
In addition, our teachers organize creative workshops with all the children staying in the parent houses, with the aim of enriching their experience and improving the quality of their free time during treatment.
In this way, through volunteer work, we strive to make our own contribution, and also to educate all employees in our institution about the true power of giving.
Čep za hendikep / Cap for Handicap is an initiative launched by the Association of Paraplegics and Quadriplegics of Banat (OSI) from Zrenjanin, aiming to inspire acts of kindness and raise public awareness about the importance of recycling—which, in this case, can help improve the lives of those facing the challenges of disability.

The campaign involves collecting all types of plastic bottle caps, which are then recycled as hard plastic. The funds generated through recycling are used to purchase wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, and other mobility aids that significantly ease daily life for people with limited mobility. The main goals of this initiative are:
- Promoting environmental awareness and the importance of recycling
- Encouraging humanity and compassion
- Educating the public about the challenges and needs of people with disabilities
Trešnjober Preschool joined this campaign across the entire institution to inspire the local community, parents, and children alike to embrace socially responsible behavior, compassion, and the importance of protecting our environment.
The safety of children and staff at Trešnjober preschools is always our top priority.

Beside the children’s check-ups, Dr. Spomenka is also available to parents for consultations, advice, and support — because we believe that a child’s healthy development begins with strong cooperation between parents, educators, and professionals.
Znanje pod lupom (“Knowledge Under the Magnifying Glass”) is a non-profit organization founded in 2020, with a clear vision: to bring Belgrade its very first children’s museum. Their mission is to spark curiosity, creativity, and healthy habits in children through fun, educational, hands-on exhibitions and workshops.
As part of our collaboration, we open the doors of Trešnjober preschools to host their exhibitions — such as “My Body – My Work” and “Water is Important, Water is Powerful.” Children delight in exploring interactive zones, discovering more about their bodies and the natural world, all through play and learning. We proudly support their goal to become Serbia’s first true children’s museum.
In partnership with JRJ Publishing, we organize reading workshops, themed bazaars, and promotional events aimed at fostering a love of books in children, encouraging early reading habits, and promoting healthy lifestyles.

This project directly encourages children to be active, fostering growth, creativity, talents, socializing, and friendship. Over the past two years, more than 500 forums have been held in elementary schools and preschool institutions across Belgrade.
Our institution immediately joined this important project, wishing to support healthy habits and active participation in sports among preschool children. After the first forum at our kindergarten, we eagerly look forward to the next event and future interactive collaborations with the Žabac team.
Public Utility Company Gradska čistoća has been successfully conducting recycling and waste separation campaigns with households, companies, city municipalities, and primary and secondary schools—and since 2015, also with preschool institutions. Our institution joined the recycling and waste separation initiative in 2016.

The goals of this campaign are:

- Raising awareness about recycling and environmental protection
- Instilling good habits in the youngest children about proper waste disposal
To further raise awareness and educate children, parents, and the wider community, PU Trešnjober has designed an ongoing campaign for collecting, separating, and recycling waste in its kindergartens.
At all Trešnjober kindergartens, children’s meals are entrusted to Food Koncept Catering — a modern, local catering company specializing in preparing healthy, balanced, and freshly made meals for kids.
Menus are crafted in collaboration with a nutritionist, free from industrial additives, preservatives, and processed meats. Meals are prepared daily using seasonal, carefully selected ingredients, respecting special dietary needs — including gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free options, as well as allergy considerations.
We believe that proper nutrition is not just a necessity, but an essential part of growing up — and thanks to the Food Koncept team, our little ones enjoy healthy, varied meals with delight.
