PROGRAM IN TREŠNJOBER
The program at Trešnjober kindergarten is based on the foundations of the preschool education program “Years of Ascent.”
We combine the elements of New Program Foundations, NTC system of learning, Montessori approach and Waldorf pedagogy in order to make child happy when coming to kindergarten, make them feel good and confident about what they can, know or want; we help them learn how to solve the conflicts, communicate with peers and grownups outside their family, acknoledge their and the feelings of their friends, love learning. We help them become the citizens of the world.
INTEGRATED AND PROJECT-BASED APPROACH
At our kindergarten, activity planning is not a predefined list of tasks but develops naturally according to the children’s interests.
Through thematic and project-based learning, the child becomes an active participant rather than a passive observer. Educators and children together choose topics, explore, solve problems, and learn through their own experiences.
By doing it this way:
- children’s curiosity and developmental pace are respected
- learning happens through play and real-life situations
- self-confidence is built and cooperation skills are developed
